ViStor Architecture
ViStor has a modular design which provides the ability to implement high performance backups. To achieve its high data throughput, ViStor runs all data moving processes within Kernel Space which reduces the amount of unnecessary data copies. Further, the system is split into several modules that can process data in parallel, making optimum use of multi-core / multi-processor systems.
This architecture provides a significant performance increase over competitive products.
