    1. Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 32 bit or greater can be downloaded from www.java.com.
    2. Repository configuration should plan for 16GB of hard disk space for cache per Source Node. See wiki.cofio.com for further information.
    3. When more than one configuration is applied to a single node, the higher specification is required.
    4. Recent updates and patches of OS should be maintained to minimize problems.
    5. When installing Repository on Win 2008 64-bit, we recommend using Microsoft Dynamic Cache Service called Dynacache, available for free via download at Microsoft.
    6. Linux supports all Node Types except Replication Node, which will be available in 2011.
    7. Workstation OS's such as XP and Windows 7 can be used for AIMstor Repository for demo purposes. For production purposes use server based OS's such as Windows 2003, Windows 2008 or Linux. The AIMstor Master can be installed on XP. It can also reside on Vista and Win 7 if the UAC "User Account Control" is turned off.

When more then one configuration is applied to a single node, higher specification may be needed.
